Build confidence and clarity in your sound with this in-depth, all-ages workshop focused on audio for video and podcast production. Designed for beginners as well as experienced media creators, this session supports anyone looking to take a more intentional and professional approach to sound.
Participants will learn how to manage complex audio projects, organize sessions efficiently, and streamline their editing workflow. Topics include advanced dialogue techniques, sound restoration, loudness optimization for major platforms, and practical strategies used in real-world production environments.
The workshop includes approximately 90 minutes of structured instruction followed by a full hour of open Q&A, allowing participants to receive practical guidance tailored to their specific questions and projects. Attendees will leave with tools and strategies to improve sound quality, consistency, and professionalism across their creative work.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Ioannis Andriotis is a composer, audio artist, and educator with over 20 years of professional experience across classical music, film scoring, interactive performance, and audio production. He has taught music composition and audio technology at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University and has led numerous courses focused specifically on sound for video and media. His teaching bridges creative practice and technical skill, offering a grounded, real-world approach to audio for visual media and podcasting.
