Description
Celebrate the 10th annual Lyceum Project featuring C.S. Lewis expert and speaker Michael Ward.
Michael Ward is the author and editor of several books, and an associate member of the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford. He is one of if not the world’s foremost living expert on the life and work of C. S. Lewis, and is especially well-known for his book Planet Narnia, which famously uncovered how medieval cosmology undergirds and unifies Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia in, frankly, extraordinary ways. Rarely does any work of scholarship re-animate and re-orient everyone’s reading and evaluation of so classic a work. Michael Ward is that rare scholar whose work has illuminated and changed the way everyone reads Lewis’ most-beloved literary work. Ward’s most recent book is a guide to what is, perhaps, Lewis’ most prescient and significant work, The Abolition of Man.
This event is free and open to the public.
