The Lunar Sooners are a student-run, entirely volunteer organization affiliated with the University of Oklahoma's Department of Physics and Astronomy. They provide free astronomy outreach across the state through lectures, interactive demonstrations, telescope viewings and ask-an-astronomer Q&A panels. Their mission is to inspire curiosity about the universe, promote scientific literacy and connect our university community with people of all ages through shared experiences under the night sky.
