Bike riders from across the nation can enjoy an urban and rural bicycling tour and festival along historic Route 66, beginning and ending in downtown Edmond. In addition to the Crit and the 10-, 33- and 66-mile distance routes, Cycle 66 has a junior criterium race for kids 10 to 18 and a 1-mile Kids’ Ride for ages 10 and under, including those on training wheels and striders.

Bike decorating is encouraged!

Bike Club OKC will host a FREE interactive rodeo experience for kids and families. Learn how to properly fit and wear a helmet, complete a pre-ride ABC check (Air, Brakes, Chain), and use a bike pump. Kids can also challenge their bike handling skills with a track stand competition, a fun and silly “Slow Race,” and an exciting obstacle course. It’s hands-on fun that builds safety, confidence and skills—no registration required.
