Mustang Chocolate Festival

1201 N. Mustang Rd., Mustang

Featuring as many as 21 vendors with chocolate treats such as Tortes, chocolate covered bacon, jalapenos, cakes, cookies, brownies, strawberries. Everything chocolate.

OKC Home + Outdoor Living Show at State Fair Park

3001 General Pershing Blvd, OKC

Browse a variety of exhibitors and experts offering new inspiration and remodeling ideas that take spring design and landscaping to the next level. Adult, $$11; kids (12 & under), free with paying adult. Friday, noon-8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.


March 28

Spring Festival at Edmond First Baptist Church

1300 E. 33rd St., Edmond

Bring the whole family for a touch-a-truck, crafts, coffee and lots of laughter.

Chuck Wagon Gathering at the Chisholm Trail Museum

605 Zellers Ave, Kingfisher

Watch as a variety of working chuck wagons from across the region prepare some of their favorite dishes, plus enjoy live music, cooking demonstrations, gunfights, Wild West Show performers, medicine man shows and more. Free with admission. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.


April 10-12

Medieval Fair of Norman at Reaves Park

2501 Jenkins, Norman

Browse artisans and food vendors while enjoying performing groups and more. Free to attend; parking. $10. 10 a.m.-7 p.m.


April 11

Canadian County Children’s Justice Center Family Fun Festival in El Reno

79055 E. Hwy 66, El Reno

Enjoy exciting outdoor activities, delicious eats from local food trucks and a wide variety of valuable community resources—all in one vibrant, welcoming space. From games and interactive fun for the kids to helpful information and support for parents, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.


April 9-11

Spring Traders Encampment at the Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve

1925 Woolaroc Ranch Rd, Bartlesville

Visit a historic encampment that recreates the rugged pioneer life of the men and women who trapped and traded throughout the 1820s and 1840s era Indian Territory. Free with museum admission. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 


April 14-18

89er Days Celebration in Downtown Guthrie

Various locations

Commemorate the Land Run of 1889 and the birth of Guthrie with a carnival, parade and host of other community events. Most events are free. See website for full list of events.


April 19

Day of Remembrance at the Oklahoma City National Memorial

620 N Harvey, OKC

The remembrance program includes 168 seconds of silence and reading of the 168 names of those who were killed in the Oklahoma City bombing. Free to attend.


April 23-26

Festival of the Arts in Oklahoma City

500 Couch Drive, Bicentennial Park, Oklahoma City

Features visual arts from artists across the United States, performing arts entertainment across three stages and an array of sweet and savory foods from a variety of restaurants. Alongside visual, performing and culinary arts, families can enjoy a children’s area offering interactive art activities. See website for more details.


April 23-25

Norman Music Festival in Downtown Norman

Main St, Norman

Enjoy live music and entertainment, artist and vendor booths, a parade and a dedicated kids’ area with crafts and fun activities for the whole family. Free to attend. See website for schedule.


April 25-May 31

Oklahoma Renaissance Festival at the Castle of Muskogee

3400 West Fern Mountain Rd, Muskogee

See costumed performers and artisans, Renaissance music and jousting competitions, and enjoy food, drink and more. Prices vary. Open weekends, plus Memorial Day, 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.


May 2

Kolache Festival in Prague

1107 N Broadway Ave, Prague

The festival features dancing, music, food, crafts, a parade, carnival rides, royalty and more. See website for schedule.

El Reno Burger Day in Downtown El Reno

119 S Rock Island Ave, El Reno

Enjoy fun for the whole family including the cooking of an 850lb fried onion burger, vendors, music, activities for kids, food trucks, car show and more. 10 a.m-10 p.m.


May 9

Oklahoma City Flower and Garden Festival at Myriad Gardens

301 W Reno Ave, OKC

A variety of vendors offer flowers, herbs, succulents, jewelry, art, crafts, and other garden-related items. Free to attend. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. 


May 23

Bethany 66 Festival

38th Street north to 39th Expressway, Bethany

Enjoy live entertainment, arts & crafts booths, children’s activities and a car, motorcycle & truck show. Free to attend. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.


May 23-24

Chuck Wagon Festival at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

1700 NE 63rd St, OKC

The two-day, fun-filled family weekend features a variety of activities including chuckwagon food samples, artisan demonstrations, live music, rope making, Western re-enactors and more. $25 in advance; $30 at the door; kids (12 & under) & museum members, free. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.


May 23-25

Paseo Arts Festival in the Paseo Arts District

3022 Paseo St, OKC

See a wide variety of media, from painting and photography to wood and jewelry, plus enjoy food, children’s activities and live entertainment. Free to attend. Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Monday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.


May 29-31

Stirling Classic Scottish Festival at Mollie Spencer Farm

1001 S Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon

Watch heavy athletics, sheepherding demonstrations, Celtic dance, roving pipe bands, Celtic bands, plus enjoy traditional Scottish food, Celtic-themed vendors, kid crafts & games, genealogy research, clan tents and a crafters’ village. Cost: see website for details.
