Karen Perea is the mom of three boys, Alex, age 12, Lee, age 10, and Jesse, age 2.  She and her husband have been married for almost 4 years. Karen works for Necco & Byrd, P.C., as a Legal Secretary. When Karen is not working or spending time with her family she is also a student at Oklahoma City Community College where she was recently accepted into the Phi Kappa Theta Honor Society. She also contributes and helps moderate ConsumerQueen.com which helps others across the United States find deals and bargains on items they use every day. Karen's busy lifestyle helps her understand that while we all want to save money, time is precious also. Karen is excited to share her tips through this blog and invites MetroFamily readers to comment back with questions or other tips.

Krysten Marshall lives in Norman with her husband, James, and their one-year-old daughter, Violet. She has worked in public relations and marketing at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History for five years and loves anything related to dinosaurs or science.

A Norman-native, Krysten holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Oklahoma. She loves photography, coffee with french vanilla creamer and making detailed lists.
