After over 11,500 votes
were recorded between November 2 and 20, here are the results.

Special Needs (All Ages 0-18)
To be eligible, you must live in Central Oklahoma. Up to ten semi-finalists will be selected for each category. The six category "Cover Kid" winners will be selected by MetroFamily readers through an online voting process. Each winner will then be professionally photographed and featured on one of our covers in 2010!
Photos submitted should only show the child being nominated (group photos are not allowed); should have been taken within the last two months; and should be snapshots, not professionally-taken "portrait" photos.
Deadline has been extended to Friday, October 16, 2009!
Entrants will receive a “thank you” mailing of coupons and discounts to local businesses, valued up to $140. This mailing includes the following great gifts:
• Up to $100 discount from Brock's Photography
• A coupon from Andy Alligator's in Norman
• A coupon for free food from McDonald's
• A frame fridge magnet from MetroFamily and our sponsor, Delta Dental of Oklahoma
• Free admission for two to the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum

There are two ways to enter:
PREFERRED: 1. Complete the form below, upload your child’s digital photo and pay using a credit/debit card (VISA/MC/Discover/American Express). Photo must be print quality. (300 dpi. Usually a print quality photo should be about 1mb in size or bigger. Maximum size that can be uploaded for the contest is 5mb.)
2. Send the completed form (attached as a pdf below) and a 4X6 or 5X7 snapshot with $25 check or credit card info submitted on the form. Send the photo and form to Cover Kids Search, MetroFamily Magazine, 306 S. Bryant, Suite C152, Edmond, OK 73034.
A portion of the proceeds from this contest will be donated to the Special Olympics Special Smiles Program. This program provides Special Olympic athletes with oral hygiene education, nutrition education and free protective mouth guards for those athletes who compete in sports that may require such protection.
